What a snapshot does
An approval snapshot fingerprints the important source facts, documents, recipients, settings, and instructions that an authorized reviewer approved.
What happens after a change
When protected inputs change, the prior approval becomes stale and the workflow returns to review. This helps prevent older approved instructions from being used after the underlying record changes.
